Sea star or starfish? It's not a fish. In Fiji I saw a beach covered with blue sea stars. The sea star is the perfect symbol for Eleven because it can regenerate. In my work-in-progress, it's a symbol for families. When the sea star loses an arm/a member, it can regenerate. When families lose a member, they can regenerate.
The number "eleven" in tarot represents incompletion. Twelve is completion. In Eleven: Eleven the house Andi inherits changes all time devices to 11:11. The only way to find the real time is to check the garden clock outside. It's an annoying quirk of Great-Great Aunt Bertha's house. The old manor house has a colorful history. It's functioned as a place to buy illegal liquor during The Prohibition and also as a brothel. Twenty acres complete with the remnants of stills and tenement cottages with their owners' spirits (not liquor) are more than Andi bargained for. Great-Great Aunt Bertha makes an occasional appearance with a menacking-looking large rolling pin. No doubt, the woman was capable of wrangling with anyone who crossed her the wrong way--then and now in 2025.
Andi's task in this paranormal thriller involves finding her mother's murderer. The two soldiers who were her mother's protectors also need to find eternal peace. Eli, Fiona, and Bennie's ghost come along to help as only they can.
